Who we are

Namastays is a product of Triaaras Namastays Ventures LLP, Flat No. 10A, Lord Krishna Arcade, Bridge Uliyannoor, Aluva Police Station, Aluva, Ernakulam, Kerala 683108, India ("we", "us"). This policy covers namastaysapp.com and its apps: the enquiry form, Enquiry Flow, StayFlow, hotel websites, the guest welcome app and the Travellers Club.

When you post a stay enquiry

We collect your name, mobile number, email (if you give it) and your trip details: place, dates, guests and budget.

Properties that may quote see your trip details and first name only. Your mobile number and email go only to a property you choose after seeing its quote.

When you stay at a hotel that uses StayFlow

The hotel records your booking, ID and stay details, as the law requires (for example, Form C for foreign guests), and issues your bills. The hotel decides what it collects; we store and process it for the hotel.

Payments go directly from you to the hotel, by UPI or at the desk. We do not collect or store card or bank details.

Travellers Club and the welcome app

When you stay at a member hotel, you are added to the Travellers Club using your name and mobile number, and you get a private link to your welcome app. You can opt out from the welcome app or by asking the front desk.

Properties and travel agents

When you sign up we keep your name, mobile number and a PIN, plus the property or business details you add. Staff accounts are created by the property.

How we use it

• To pass your enquiry to properties and show you their quotes.
• To run the hotel's front desk, bills and records.
• To send messages you would expect, such as booking confirmations, on WhatsApp.
• To keep the service safe and fix problems.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use advertising trackers. Cookies are used only to keep you signed in.

Who else handles it

Trusted service providers that host and run the service for us (cloud hosting, database and messaging, including WhatsApp). They process data only to provide their service to us. We share data with authorities only when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

As long as needed for the purpose above, and longer only where the law requires it, such as tax invoices and guest registers.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask to see, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw your consent, and raise a complaint. Write to team@namastaysapp.com or WhatsApp +91 97782 82789. We reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can approach the Data Protection Board of India.

We will update this page when our practices change, and show the date at the top.
